We designed the zip for those looking for just a little more space, without the hassle of building permits.
The ZIP was developed as a NO PERMIT model. At 10 x 12, 120 square feet, it is permit exempt in most localities. In addition to being permit exempt, The ZIP is fast to build, but it's no lightweight. This re-locatable design is engineered to last a lifetime. Configured with different roof line, window, door and decking options, the Zip can quickly be tailored to the character of it's owner. If you like the ZIP and have a need for something larger, let us know. This building system works in larger sizes as well.

The roofed deck is a generous 12 x 12 feet. The total size is 12’ x 32’
We are offering an Introductory price of $27’700 for two ZIP cabins as shown.
The Zip sits on sturdy steel legs with plate steel feet. The floor / foundation is made up of engineered timbers topped with ¾” plywood.
Configured with several different roof line, window, door and decking options, the Zip can quickly be tailored and priced to the needs of it's owner.
Base price $12,500.
The Zip structure is unique, it’s comprised of a heavy extruded aluminum frame, inset with wood panels and windows. The façade features 12’ of glass sliding doors. The revolutionary metal roof is insulated to R-11.
We can include an integral front deck. When the roof extends over the porch, it is supported by a varnished wood beam held atop steel posts.

We can include an enclosed back porch and a facade designed for privacy in the Zip 12-10.
The Zip is expandable and permit-able – if you like the style and need something larger, let us know.
